Karen Petel

Karen Petel is a Senior Vice President and Strategist with the Mack/Crounse Group. She has worked on campaigns in nearly every role, having served as Campaign Manager, Communications Director, Fundraiser, Researcher, and Field Operative. During the 2006 elections, Karen helped Democrats win back the House of Representatives by serving on the campaign teams of six new Members of Congress.
In the 2004 elections, Karen served as the Deputy Political Director and Campaign Director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). Karen also developed the committee's first grassroots GOTV training program. Previously, Karen served as a Regional Political Director for EMILY's List, where she recruited Democratic women to run for office, trained candidates, and served as a Campaign Strategist. A seasoned campaign trainer, Karen has worked with various organizations, political leaders, and activists in the United States, England, Italy, and Hong Kong. Karen received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rhode Island.
